Who are nasal strips and mouth tape for?
Anyone who breathes through their mouth at night, snores, wakes up with a dry mouth or never quite feels rested. Nasal strips are especially handy in hay fever season, or when a cold has left your nose feeling stuffy.
Does mouth tape help with snoring?
If your snoring comes from breathing through your mouth, mouth tape can help by keeping you breathing through your nose. If your nose often feels blocked, pair it with our nasal strips.
Can I use nasal strips and mouth tape together?
Yes, that's the whole idea. The strip opens up your nose, the tape keeps your lips gently closed, and you stay breathing through your nose all night.
Is it safe?
Our mouth tape is hypoallergenic, latex-free and CE and RoHS certified. Only use it if you can breathe comfortably through your nose, so never when you're bunged up with a cold. If you have sleep apnoea, asthma, COPD or any other medical condition, check with your GP or pharmacist first.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Order by 2pm on a weekday and we'll dispatch it the same day. Tracked delivery usually takes 2–4 working days, and it's free on UK orders over £25.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Most people need a few nights to get used to it. If you're not sleeping better after 30 nights, email support@nasalstrip.uk within 30 days of your order and we'll sort out a refund or exchange.
What are nasal strips?
Thin, flexible strips that sit across the bridge of your nose. A gentle spring action lifts the sides of your nose to open up your nasal passages, so air flows through more easily.
I have sensitive skin. Are they suitable?
They're latex-free, BPA-free and use a hypoallergenic adhesive. If your skin's on the sensitive side, do a quick patch test on your inner arm for 30 minutes before you first use them.
How long does each strip stay on?
Up to 12 hours. Put it on clean, dry skin (skip the moisturiser) and it'll stay put till morning.
Can anyone use nasal strips?
Most adults can. They're not suitable for children under 5. If you have asthma, COPD or another medical condition, have a word with your GP first.
Can I use them with mouth tape?
Yes, and we'd recommend it. The strip opens up your nose, the tape keeps your lips closed, and you stay breathing through your nose all night.
Does mouth tape help with snoring?
If your snoring comes from breathing through your mouth, it can help. Keeping your lips gently closed encourages you to breathe through your nose, which for many people is a lot quieter.
Will I still be able to breathe?
Yes. You breathe through your nose as normal, and the tape peels off easily whenever you need it to. Don't use mouth tape if you're bunged up or feeling unwell.
Does it work with a beard?
Yes. It's designed to grip stubble and beards and stay put all night.
Is it safe?
Our mouth tape is hypoallergenic, latex-free and CE and RoHS certified. Only use it if you can breathe comfortably through your nose: never when your nose is blocked, when you feel unwell, or on children. A 2025 review of 10 studies found the evidence on mouth taping is still limited, and warned it can be risky if your nose is blocked. If you have sleep apnoea or another medical condition, check with your GP first.
What if I'm still snoring?
Give it a week, as most people need a few nights to get used to it. If your nose feels blocked, add our nasal strips. If you're still snoring after that, it's worth a chat with your GP, as snoring can have other causes.
